As the summer approaches, I assume that everyone will hopefully have slightly more time on their hands for atleast a month or so. I'm hoping for more possible campaigning, or even just random gaming, as we saw last year.
I will be available from mid-july onwards to play games. Why?, I hear you cry out. Beacause I'm moving houses and as the new house is available only from the 19th of july onwards I can't really have my computer posted up for gaming at our summer cottage. But when mid july comes knoking around I will hopefully have aquired my new computer, an Alienware Area-51 7500, with enough computing goodness to last me for another 8 years or so.
Happy holidays, and please do use the IGC blog to organize gaming events, so that if for some reason I am available to play, I'll know when there is something going on.
P.S for those who own a microscope... err, microphone, I recommend downloading X-fire, as it is an exellent chat system. Takes up minimal RAM and is able to run smoothly in the background of a plethora of games. Get It Here!

Welcome to the International Gaming Coalition homepages. The home of an exclusive club of gamers from Finland, Britain & Japan. The purpose of this site is to coordinate games for the Summer holiday, and perhaps into next year as well. Games to be played include Age of Empires, Counter Strike, Stronghold and more!
Here we will post information about upcoming games and the results of those played. If you plan on hosting a game, contact me (Sakari) for posting rights to the blog. It is also advised to inform either me or Oliver of your Summer holiday plans so that we know when people are available to play.

Might I remind you that of the Finnish members (Sakari is currently a Japanese member btw), it is only you who is not working over the summer? I work Mondays to Thursdays 2-8 p.m. and Pyry has irregular shifts in McDonald's. So I'm afraid my time is very limited in the evenings, whereas I think Pyry is not free in the morning/noon when I would be free. This leaves week-ends, though.
Hmmm, true, but as you said it leaves weekends. I didn't say we have to be playing games 24/7, now did I. =D
BTW, as for why I'm not working. I highly doubt any employer in their right mind would employ someone who could only work for a maximum of about a month. Irregularily. We are moving houses, and I do have lots to do regardless.

I agree with Oliver too, and I also share Tony's preferance on the "Holiday" part of "Summer Holiday."
Frankly, I can't imagine doing anything whatsoever when my next Finnish summer holiday comes along. Just pure idle bliss for me thanks.
In terms of my availability for gaming.
From now until july 23rd I still have school.
On saturdays I can clear time for gaming between: 12:30 - 18:00 BST, 14:30 - 20:00 FT(Finnish Time)
On Sundays I can wake up early (or can try) to play between 22:00 - 02:00 BST, 24:00 - 04:00 FT
OR
I can clear gaming time between 05:00+ - 10:00 BST, 07:00 - 11:00 FT.
Probably the most convenient for everyone would be the Saturday. I've tried some games but my internet here isn't very cooperative. So far games which work are steam based games and Trackmania. I'll be willing to give others a try though.

Hehe, that sounds pretty awesome.
Oliver design us a logo which has "Helsinki London Tokyo" on it! I know the Finnish members don't technically live in Helsinki, but Espoo doesn't sound quite as cool.
Coincidentally, by the time you are home we are already back at school. And I can assure you I will not be around 24/7 at that time, what with the massive amounts of schoolwork that the IB2 fall brings.
